indiandoctor4u// -Bhopal Bureau // Recently MoU was signed between All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board. The objective of this MoU was for joint study and research on ‘Impact of environmental pollution on human health’.
This study done by the experts of both the institutes will set a new example for the health security of future generations. This important MoU was signed by Member Secretary of the Board, Chandra Mohan Thakur and Dr. Ajay Singh, Director and Executive Officer, AIIMS.
On this occasion, Chandramohan Thakur said that a joint study by the experts of both the institutes would be done to find out what are the ill effects of various pollutants present in the environment on human health and what diseases are caused by them. Based on these data, it will help in determining the health policy.
On this occasion, Dr. Ajay Singh said that this MoU will prove to be a milestone in the control of diseases caused by air pollution. Due to the availability of this authentic data, there will be more help in making effective health policy across the country.
